At the present moment I am stuck. I feel like I have pushed myself into an area which is not comfortable for me, and not that I mind being in an uncomfortable place because I feel that makes me grow, but I have stalled me to the point of being stuck.
So I reach for a couple of new books. At the moment I am reading Dare to Sketch, a guide to drawing on the go, by Felix Scheinberger, and Felix Scheinberger’s Urban Watercolor Sketching. I think it’s time to get back to sketching and I look forward to sharing those with you in the future.
I just wanted to share a bit about myself. At present I am holed up at Banff National Park in Alberta staying in a small trailer for four days. The smoke from the neighbouring province comes and goes. When we arrived yesterday, the smoke was very bad and then cleared off when we got to our destination. I hope to get out and sketch today, hoping that I can see the scenery as this is one of the most spectacular places in the world. Funny how no two places in the world are quite like the other.
